A Legacy of Love, Reading, and Mental Health Awareness

Created in loving memory of Chelsea Williamson (1995 -2025)

Empowering Through Stories

This project was created in loving memory of Chelsea Irene Williamson's memory (1995-2025) - a beautiful soul who lit up every room with her intelligence, humor, and heart. Chelsea loved reading books. She could easily lose herself in a novel over a weekend, and often did.

Through this page, we honor her memory by encouraging others to share books in her name — and more importantly, to talk openly about mental health and suicide prevention. It’s a heartbreaking reminder that suicide doesn’t always look like what we expect.

Chelsea's Story

Chelsea was radiant, deeply intelligent, and loved by everyone that knew her. She had an excellent memory, worked hard, excelled professionally, and still made time for her family and friends - especially her sisters Sarah and Emily.

She loved reading, spending time with family and friends, enjoyed video games and game nights. She had plans-trips she wanted to take, books she wanted to read and people she loved.

That's what makes her loss so shocking: suicide doesn't always look like despair. It can be quiet, it can hide behind smiles, success and even laughter.

We tell her story now not only to remember her but to help others see the importance of talking about mental health - openly, without shame.
